When we take our eyes off Christ for even a moment, it's easy to seek the applause of men rather than to live for God. Strive to keep your eyes on Christ in every moment.
My prayer for you this weekend:
I thank you for the ways you have made your love for me real through your people. May I be that kind of friend to someone today. Show me who needs a listening ear -- and empower me to be their friend. Amen.
